Charity Support: Based on their continued efforts and actions to save our planets oceans, Alandro Resources has pledged funds to donate to the environmental charity Ocean Conservancy.

Take Action: Plastic Doesn’t Belong in the Ocean

Take Action A recent study in the journal Science revealed that 10 to 28 billion pounds of plastic enter our ocean annually.

If something isn’t done — and done soon — in the next decade our ocean could hold one pound of plastic for every three pounds of fish.

We know that plastic is bad for ocean wildlife and habitats — animals ingest it and can get entangled in it; it litters our beaches and waterways.

The American Chemistry Council represents some of the world’s largest producers of plastic. They need to acknowledge that plastic in the ocean is a BIG problem AND agree to come to the table with Ocean Conservancy and other industry leaders to engage in an open dialogue to pursue real solutions for preventing plastics from reaching the ocean.
